CHR TANGUERAY
Coming from generations of Polish royalty, Tanqueray is sired by the incomparable Monogramm, the horse who was chosen to return the Ofir sire line to Poland, who is a noted sire of multiple world and United States champions both in hand and under saddle. Through Monogramm, he is a paternal brother to such noted horses as world champion mares *Zagrobla and *Kwestura as well as *Ekstern, *Ganges and Concensus. He was widely renowned for his contributions as a sire of type, movement, and athleticism. Tanqueray’s dam OSO Padova, is a daughter of Gwizd, a well thought-of son of Probat, a horse widely considered to be an influential sire in Russia, Poland, and the United States. Her dam is a daughter of the National Champion stallion Strike, himself a noted sire of athletes in the United States and out of a daughter of *Bandos, one of the most favored progenitors of the *Skowronek sire line in the United States.
Although he has been used on a limited number of mares thus far, Tanqueray is showing promise as a sire of beautiful and trainable athletes. To date they are all going well under saddle and being shown successfully as sport horses and main ring hunter pleasure horses.
